Dear Electronic Invoicer, Remember that next Friday, March 11, is the first VAT-Free Day of 2022, and to make the most of it, keep the following recommendations in mind:

• Fine-tune your electronic invoicing processes to issue the document at all points of sale.
• Request numbering ranges in advance if you anticipate they may run out during the day.
• Do not require the RUT or ID for issuing the electronic invoice; the regulations do not mandate it.
• You must declare the contingency if you encounter technical, technological, and/or operational issues that prevent you from using the invoice book or POS machine receipt.
• Always identify the natural person purchaser.
